Public role
Kilian Green co-founded Mellow Boards with Johannes Schewe in Hamburg in 2015. Historical press releases identify Green as CTO and describe him as a former mechatronics specialist at BMW. Public-facing technical discussions — specification sheets, mode behaviour, battery management themes — align Green with the electrical and firmware side of the Mellow Drive stack: dual hub motors, 99 Wh pack integration, IP65 sealing challenges, and the four-mode remote architecture (Rookie, Eco, Pro, Endless).
Green participated in campaign updates and engineering-focused interviews that explained delays in manufacturing terms intelligible to backers — a transparency approach that preserved community trust during the 2016–2017 ramp.
Historical context
Documentation of Green's work concentrates on the independent Mellow era through the November 2018 TQ Systems acquisition. Subsequent roles are not comprehensively covered in sources indexed here.
